Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. seeks a PACE Director of Center Operations, RN, to lead daily operations of the Central Coast PACE Center. You will coordinate clinical and administrative services, ensure high-quality participant care, and drive regulatory readiness.

The role reports to the Chief of PACE and requires strong nursing leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across departments to support mission-driven elder care.

Qualifications

• Graduation of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related health field preferred.
• Equivalents may be given to an RN with a Bachelor’s degree and significant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, operational, and clinical initiatives to support high-quality participant care.
• Oversee center operations and integration of clinical and administrative services.
• Ensure staffing, workflows, and compliance with PACE standards and organizational goals.
• Monitor expenditures and staffing costs to stay within budget while maintaining care quality.
• Provide leadership and supervision to managers and staff, including licensed clinicians.
• Apply nursing expertise to patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, DHCS, and applicable regulations and readiness for audits.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate operations and priorities.
• Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Allocate staffing resources with PACE leadership for sustainable operations.
• Serve as operational liaison between staff, support services, and leadership.
• Foster collaboration, service excellence, and regulatory integrity.
