Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across the Southeast region, ideally located in or near the Greater Philadelphia area. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site support for industrial marking, coding, and labeling equipment.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of electro‑mechanical troubleshooting, strong customer service skills, and the ability to travel ~60% of the time.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electro‑mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Field service experience with frequent travel.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience training customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~60%.

Responsibilities

• Install, demonstrate, maintain, and repair industrial marking, coding, and labeling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical equipment issues at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Provide technical support and exceptional customer service during onsite visits.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Complete service reports and documentation in accordance with company requirements.
• Attend technical training sessions, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Assist with office-based responsibilities when not traveling to customer locations.
• Stay current on market trends, equipment technologies, and industry developments.
• Identify customer needs and communicate potential equipment, service, or support opportunities when appropriate.
