Job summary

FMH Conveyors, a Duravant family company, is seeking a Field Service Technician for its Lifecycle Services team in Philadelphia. This full-time position travels to customer sites (up to 80%) to install, start-up, commission, perform preventive maintenance, and provide training on OEM equipment.

You will perform mechanical and electrical modifications, configure PLCs/servo drives, and collaborate with customers to ensure safe, reliable operation and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic components and HMI.
• Interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics.
• VFD parameter configuration and servo drives knowledge.
• Able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair field equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for a US passport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field service calls for installation, commissioning, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, audits, and training.
• Modify mechanical/electrical systems including PLC programs and servo drive configuration.
• Meet with customers to explain scope, work performed, and train staff.
• Meet service delivery goals: response time, first-time fix, customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with field service management and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Provide reliability feedback to quality engineering for improvements.
• Follow safety standards and company policies.
• Complete timesheets, CRM entries, and expenses promptly.
• Periodically support at Lifecycle Services headquarters.
