Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Test Engineer II to execute relay protection and breaker control tests under supervision, advancing toward independent system-level understanding. You will interpret drawings, document results, and contribute to commissioning for substations and distribution projects.

You will work in a safety-first environment, grow technical depth through POWERX Academy, and support test plans while coordinating with Senior or Lead engineers on diverse protection schemes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in high-voltage Protection & Control testing and commissioning.
• Familiar with relay platforms such as SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens, Westinghouse or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in relevant electrical field.

Responsibilities

• Execute relay protection testing tasks with oversight from Senior/Lead.
• Read and navigate one-lines, three-lines, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain accurate test records and daily reports.
• Support turnover documentation and commissioning packages.
• Collaborate with Senior/Lead to ensure safety and quality.
