Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group in Northern California and surrounding states seeks an Insurance Agent to sell Property & Casualty, Life and Roadside Insurance to Members, meeting sales goals while delivering exceptional service.

You will solicit new business, serve existing insured Members, and support cross-selling of AAA insurance products with limited supervision. Commission-based earnings accompany a guaranteed hourly base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant insurance industry work experience.
• Active and unrestricted state licenses to place property and casualty insurance required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales and retain insureds.
• Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan.
• Conduct insurance reviews to assess risk, quote, bind and issue policies.
• Establish rapport with insureds to boost loyalty to the AAA brand.
• Solicit and market to businesses and community events; perform outbound calls and cross-sell.
• Respond to customer inquiries about insurance products and membership.
• Resolve complex customer service issues and assist insured with first notice of loss on claims.
