Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Project Manager focused on restaurant construction and capital improvements, based in Fairfax, VA. The role lead on-site execution, coordinating with contractors and facilities teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction with a strong background in MEP and complex kitchen projects, and a track record of field leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in restaurant construction or facilities maintenance with MEP focus.
• Hands-on field leadership experience as Superintendent/Field Construction Manager or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day job-site execution for restaurant construction, remodels and capital improvements, ensuring safety and plan adherence.
• Serve as primary on-site representative and main point of contact for field activities and stakeholders.
• Oversee work to align with standards, drawings and specifications, focusing on quality and compliance.
• Review and interpret blueprints and engineering documents to guide field execution and resolve issues in real time.
• Coordinate with general contractors and trade partners to ensure safe, efficient on-site delivery.
