Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Reston, VA. This role focuses on ground-up restaurant and retail builds, overseeing multiple concurrent projects from planning through execution in a hybrid, office-plus-site environment.

You will drive schedules, budgets, safety, and quality while coordinating with contractors, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality commercial spaces on time and within budget. A PMP is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ground-up restaurant and retail construction experience is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across sites.
• Strong reading of blueprints and architectural plans.
• Proactive risk management and cost control.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle construction for restaurant and retail projects.
• Conduct regular site visits ensuring safety, quality, and codes.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
• Interpret complex blueprints and architectural designs and execute accordingly.
• Lead meetings with contractors, vendors, and clients to align on scope and schedule.
