Job summary

Amazon’s Global Engineering Services (NA D&C) is hiring a Construction Manager to serve as the owner’s representative throughout the full lifecycle of facilities projects, including large-scale builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will interface with developers, general contractors, design engineers, and AHJs, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

The role requires approximately 60% regional travel within North America and relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience from design to handover.
• 5+ years negotiating contracts; travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from design through handover.
• Serve as owner's representative between teams and stakeholders.
• Review documents for conformance to building standards.
• Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• Ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality KPIs.
