Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs overseas. The role involves six-month deployments, remote training, in-person sessions, and paid time off at the end of assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires strong computer skills and effective written and verbal communication.
• Public speaking and interpersonal skills are required.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is strongly desired.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities is essential.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency communication messages and support services to military members and families.
• Monitor service delivery outcomes and document program activities.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage volunteers across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Supervise volunteer teams to ensure high-impact program delivery.
• Coordinate educational briefings, workshops, and events supporting SAF/IS objectives.
