Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs in overseas locations. You will deploy for 6 months with remote training, then in-person sessions, living on military bases and adhering to base policies.

This role requires managing services for service members, veterans, and families. Responsibilities include emergency communication casework, program delivery, volunteer management, and stakeholder outreach across installations.

Qualifications

• Requires strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and public speaking.
• Minimum five years of program management or related experience.
• Current valid driver's license preferred; willingness to deploy internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Red Cross services for military members, veterans, and families.
• Oversee SAF/IS program administration, IHL, YAC, and RFL activities within area.
• Lead volunteer engagement and coordinate with other Red Cross departments.
• Supervise mobile deployment teams and support educational briefings and events.
• Coordinate travel, logistics, and reporting for deployments.
