Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across stores, oversee warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage nightly freight schedules based on customer demand and inventory needs.

You will schedule personnel, oversee shipping and receiving, ensure safety and OSHA compliance, train staff, handle disciplinary actions, and coordinate with other departments to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work in Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for ship/receive.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, inventory, maintenance).
• Oversee warehouse safety programs to ensure a safe, clean workplace and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures; manage disciplinary process as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping documents, invoices and packing slips.
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure proper product staging and storage.
