Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across retail stores. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse settings, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong Windows-based computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping/receiving.
• Direct day-to-day activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs reporting.
• Manage warehouse safety programs to provide a safe, clean workplace.
• Ensure associates are trained and following SOPs.
• Handle general employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
