Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations and supervise warehouse staff at a store level. You will manage daily freight schedules to meet customer and inventory needs and ensure safe, efficient distribution.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipping/receiving, maintaining inventory controls, and enforcing SOPs while collaborating with other departments. This role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience and the ability to work extended

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Lead safety programs to provide a safe, clean workplace per OSHA and company policy.
• Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures and training.
• Administer disciplinary processes to maintain a productive labor climate.
• Handle employee inquiries and coordinate with other departments for efficiency.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow.
