Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across a store network in the United States. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, team-building and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or distribution center environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, inventory control, maintenance.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs to keep operations safe and efficient.
• Lead warehouse safety programs complying with OSHA regulations.
• Ensure training and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices and receiving reports.
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP execution and product staging/inspection.
• Monitor inventory rotation and proper storage to conserve space.
