Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct the warehouse operations for our stores in the Los Angeles area.

You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and manage daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs. The role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment).
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs per OSHA regulations.
• Ensure associates are trained, follow SOPs, and handle disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
