Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a store leader to direct day-to-day operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will mentor staff, oversee staffing, and ensure exceptional customer service while achieving sales goals and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, executing merchandising plans, coaching teams, and maintaining a safe shopping environment during peak hours. Prior management experience in retail is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and sales.
• Oversee P&L, sales targets and shrink control for the department.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure safe, clean store conditions.
• Maintain store appearance and adhere to company standards during prime hours.
