Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable populations in shelter or similar setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred/required.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new databases quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead service coordinators and volunteers on shift to maintain a calm, safe environment.
• Provide daily guidance, monitor adherence to policies and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with security and staff to respond to emergencies and document issues.
• Oversee shift activities including intake/discharge, meals, supplies, and sleeping area upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in HMIS or similar systems; manage staff schedules and incident reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of workspaces and dormitories; report issues promptly.
• Coordinate volunteers and support organizational culture and goals.
