Phoenix House is seeking a dedicated Shelter Shift Supervisor for our Jamaica, NY site. You will lead Residential Aide staff, oversee daily operations, and respond to crises with professionalism while connecting clients to health, housing, and community services in NYS.

The role offers a full-time schedule Sunday-Thursday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM EST, with a focus on safety, stability, and compassionate support for individuals working toward recovery and independence.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
Minimum two years’ experience in social service.
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and assign job tasks to Residential Aide staff.
Assist residential aides with daily activities and crisis management.
Assist case managers in connecting clients with NYS healthcare, mental health, and housing services.
Attend staff meetings and required training.
Maintain client files and data in systems.
Assist with quality assurance reports and safety inspections.
Other duties within scope.
