Job summary

Vincentian CARES South Pinellas, Inc. in New Port Richey, FL seeks an Overnight Navigator Specialist to support intake, discharge and client navigation. You will open and close cases in PHMIS, set housing goals, and follow up to help clients reach permanent housing.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, understanding of harm reduction, trauma‑informed care, and a willingness to work overnight with a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Must speak, write and understand English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience helping or working with homeless populations is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Register new clients with demographics, income status and housing information.
• Set attainable goals and monitor progress for case management.
• Assist with client volunteers and program operations.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining area and lounge.
• Help clients with housing referrals, information and transportation needs.
• Support PHMIS data entry and client tracking.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with supervisors.
• Assist with ID badge creation and access control for clients.
