Job summary

Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a passionate Housing Navigator to support individuals experiencing homelessness in North Central Florida. This hands-on role will involve building relationships with clients, landlords, and community agencies to help secure stable housing.

You'll work closely with program participants and advocate on their behalf to overcome barriers to obtaining housing. Ideal candidates possess at least 2 years of experience in homelessness services and have

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
• At least 1 year of experience working with landlords and professional property management.
• Experience connecting individuals with community resources.

Responsibilities

• Support program participants with locating and securing permanent housing.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords.
• Conduct landlord outreach to identify additional housing opportunities.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and housing partners.
• Create and maintain a database of landlords and housing resources.
• Provide clients with housing resources and guidance.
• Participate in the development of individualized service plans.
• Advocate for clients experiencing barriers to obtaining housing.
• Collaborate with clients and property managers.
• Conduct office, home, and community-based visits.
