Job summary

The Grand Bohemian Charlotte, Autograph Collection, a luxury hotel in Uptown Charlotte, seeks a Safety and Security Officer to protect guests and staff and monitor premises for safety and compliance. The role covers incident response, access control, reporting, and coordination with hotel leadership.

Experience in hotel security, the ability to work shifts including evenings, and strong communication skills are required. Comprehensive benefits are provided as part of the hotel’s program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Maintain visibility with Front Desk, and monitor lobby areas.
• Review daily activity logs and maintain confidentiality of incidents.
• Assist guests to their rooms and during medical emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical or security incidents.
• Complete incident/accident reports clearly and promptly.
