Job summary

K&G Petroleum/S&S Fuels in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Overnight Customer Service Representative to deliver friendly service, process transactions, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and pays $13.50–$14.50 per hour, with possible increases after a 90-day probation, plus benefits for full-time staff.

High School diploma or GED is preferred; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and customer service preferred.
• Punctual and reliable: arrive on time.
• Communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary, courteous customer service and handle complaints quickly and tactfully.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to drive sales while maintaining excellent customer rapport.
• Process all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handle cash and other forms of payment; follow cash handling procedures to prevent loss and perform basic arithmetic.
• Operate POS (cash register) and other equipment as outlined.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness inside and out; basic upkeep of all equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and shift closeouts.
• Notify store management of any observed dishonesty by customers, vendors, or other store employees; follow procedures for confronting shoplifters.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including relevant regulations, and complete trainings.
