Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran Services seeks an Overnight CNA to provide compassionate direct resident care in Rushford, MN, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Duties include feeding assistance, continence care, mobility support, hygiene, and accurate documentation.

You will help residents maintain dignity, safety and comfort while following care plans and reporting changes promptly to nursing staff. Shift details and benefits apply as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must read, write and follow oral and written English instructions.
• Must have completed an approved NA training program and be on MN NA Registry or enroll and complete within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care according to each resident’s plan of care under direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.
• Assist residents with feeding and monitor intake.
• Perform continence care including bedpan/urinal, bowel/bladder programs and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using devices and proper body mechanics.
• Support comfort and quality of line needs; ensure rest and privacy for residents.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff; document vital signs, intake/output and observations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment per policies.
