Job summary

Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for the Overnight Shift. This full-time role supports residents under Charge Nurses, delivering quality care while upholding dignity and rights.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, vital signs, and care planning, with a focus on safety, infection control, and teamwork. Night shift schedule includes evenings and weekend rotation, with a mission-driven, resident-centered workplace.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed coursework and examinations to obtain South Dakota Board of Nursing, Certified Nurse Assistant certification.
• Experience in senior living or long-term care (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 60 lbs, and carry 15 lbs with two hands.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Must pass a drug test, background check and TB clearance required.
• Calm, caring resident-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Model the values, mission, and vision of the organization.
• Provide high-quality nursing care under supervision of Charge Nurses.
• Assist in orientation of residents and families during admissions/transfers.
• Respond to call lights promptly and report abnormalities to Charge Nurse.
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity in service delivery.
• Assist with vital signs, weighing residents, and specimen collection.
• Support infection control procedures and residents' rights.
