Job summary

R1 RCM Holdco Inc. seeks a Patient Registration Representative for a full-time overnight shift at Ascension Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX.

You will be the first point of contact, registering patients, collecting demographics, and assisting families with the check-in process. You’ll navigate insurance details, verify coverage, and provide cost estimates while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check, drug test and vaccination requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly.
• Build trust with patients during moments of illness, anxiety, or confusion.
• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics and medical data, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
