R1 RCM, Inc. seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring fast, compassionate access to care.

The role operates in a hospital setting at Ascension Dell Seton Medical Center - University of Texas, with a schedule of Sun–Tue 6:00 PM–6:00 AM and Wed 6:00 PM–12:00 AM. You will handle check-in, verification, and data entry while collaborating with care teams to support patient flow and revenue cycle success.

Formación

• Exceptional customer service, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED; background check, drug test and vaccination requirements may apply.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families at check-in across multiple systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information quickly.
• Build trust with patients during stressful moments and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Navigate insurance plans, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates when applicable.
