Job summary

R1 RCM Holdco Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative at Ascension Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX.

You are the first point of contact, helping patients check in, verify information, collect co-pays, and navigate insurance basics with empathy. You will work Friday through Sunday 10:30am–9:00pm, join a fast-paced team, and support timely access to care by coordinating with nurses and care teams.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare or front desk is preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Comfort with phones and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during check-in and registration.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information.
• Explain insurance coverage and collect co-pays when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Navigate patient data across systems to minimize delays.
