Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Member Services Representative to join our team at Excel Fitness. This role involves ensuring excellent member service, maintaining club standards, and supporting daily operational tasks during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform your duties diligently during your assigned shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere in the club.
• Utilize the Planet Fitness mobile app proficiently and stay updated on content and features.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club meets Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds, cleaning, and re-inspection tasks.
• Balance cash drawers daily and update member information accurately.
• Enforce company policies, ensuring member compliance and safety.
• Provide high-level member service and address member inquiries or issues.
• Stock retail and janitorial supplies for upcoming shifts.
• Assist with inventory management and communicate with management about stock needs.
• Stay current with certifications and participate in team meetings.
• Promote the club to prospects and support membership initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
• Assist members with amenities like tanning, HydroMassage, and Total Body Enhancement, following proper procedures.
• Represent the company at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certifications are required before working alone; training can be completed within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and communicate effectively.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and organized with critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Familiarity with Excel's mission, values, and the Planet Fitness brand is preferred.

Additional Details

This position is non-supervisory, operating in a fitness club environment with standard office and custodial equipment. Physical demands include lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, and other physical activities. Work hours vary, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights, based on business needs.
