Position: Member Services Rep - Full Time - Day

We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! As a part of our staff, you will provide a superior customer service experience to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional "Judgement Free" environment. BILINGUAL English/Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service/Front Desk:
2. Greeting members and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
3. Answering phones and assisting callers with inquiries.
4. Checking members in, conducting tours, signing up new members, logging amenities, and communicating updates and events.
5. Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns.
6. Processing beverage or merchandise purchases via POS system.
7. Managing membership cards, address changes, and billing questions using POS system.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

1. Maintaining a clean and orderly front desk and lobby area.
2. Performing regular cleaning tasks such as mopping spills, trash removal, cleaning windows/mirrors, and re-racking weights.
3. Cleaning exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
4. Restocking and cleaning restrooms and wet areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Applicants for overnight shifts must undergo a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
2. Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
3. Prior customer service experience preferred.
4. Must be 18 years or older.
5. High School diploma or GED required.
6. Punctuality, reliability, and an upbeat attitude are essential.
7. Must obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification and be physically capable of performing CPR in emergencies.

Physical Demands:

1. Walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and repetitive hand motions.
2. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
3. Continuous talking in person or on the phone.
4. Visual and auditory capabilities within normal ranges, with or without correction.
