Position: Member Services Rep - Full Time - Overnight

We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! As part of our staff, you will provide exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding “Judgement Free” experience. BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service/Front Desk:
2. Greet members and guests warmly, creating a welcoming environment.
3. Answer phones courteously and assist callers with inquiries.
4. Check members in, conduct tours, sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
5. Address member questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
6. Process beverage or merchandise purchases via POS system.
7. Assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing questions using the POS system.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

1. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
2. Perform regular cleaning tasks such as mopping spills, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
3. Clean all exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
4. Ensure restrooms and wet areas are clean and stocked.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Applicants for overnight shifts must pass a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; continued employment depends on the outcome.
2. Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and staff.
3. Prior customer service experience preferred.
4. Must be 18 years or older.
5. High School diploma or GED required.
6. Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude.
7. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
8. Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification as required.

Physical Demands:

1. Stand, walk, and perform physical activities such as stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and repetitive hand motions.
2. Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 lbs.
3. Communicate verbally during shifts and in emergencies.
4. Maintain the ability to perform CPR if necessary.
5. Visual and auditory abilities within normal ranges, with or without correction.
