Position: Member Services Rep - Part Time - Evening

We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team! As a staff member, you will provide exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding “Judgement Free” experience. BILINGUAL English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
2. Greeting members and guests to create a welcoming environment.
3. Answering phone inquiries courteously and assisting callers with questions.
4. Checking members in, touring, signing up new members, logging amenities, and communicating updates and events.
5. Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns.
6. Processing beverage or merchandise purchases via the POS system.
7. Using the POS system for new membership cards, address changes, and billing questions.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

1. Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
2. Performing routine cleaning such as mopping spills, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
3. Cleaning exercise equipment and tanning beds regularly.
4. Ensuring restrooms and wet areas are clean and stocked.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Applicants for overnight positions must undergo a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; employment depends on a satisfactory outcome.
2. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and staff.
3. Prior customer service experience preferred.
4. Must be 18 years or older.
5. High School diploma or GED required.
6. Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude.
7. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
8. Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification as required and be physically capable of performing CPR/AED in emergencies.

Physical Demands:

1. Walking and standing for extended periods; occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and repetitive hand motions.
2. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
3. Continuous talking in person or on the phone.
4. Ability to see and hear within normal ranges with or without correction.
