Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident care by accurately administering daily medications and following physician orders. You will use the eMAR system, adhere to the Six Rights, and communicate with clinical leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care that preserves resident dignity.

We offer full-time positions with a comprehensive benefits package starting after 30 days, plus daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician license in good standing or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to take additional state-required training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to use or learn the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction on resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
