Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents' daily medication needs with compassion and dignity, enabling them to live life to the fullest. The role emphasizes following physician orders, using the eMAR system, and providing direct resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training or education as required by state.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to learn/operate the eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and site policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction on medication and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
