Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by accurately dispensing medications according to physician orders. You will follow the Six rights and use the eMAR system, communicating with clinical leadership for guidance and ensuring compassionate, dignified care on every shift.

You will lead on the floor, supervising non-licensed teammates and living the Bickford Mission of Whatever it Takes, while maintaining strong time management and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or related experience in senior care.
• Insulin Certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission on shift.
