Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking an overnight hospitality associate to keep the hotel clean and safe while assisting front desk staff and guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling luggage, cleaning public areas, and supporting night security.

The role requires flexibility to work 10:00pm–6:00am and a High School level education or GED. The position offers housing & meals options, sick leave per Washington state law, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Partial High School; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits including attention to detail.
• Able to recognize when a problem has occurred and report it to management.
• Able to work alone and with little or no direct supervision, using a checklist.
• Able to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work overnight shift, approximately 10:00pm to 6:00am.
• Greet hotel guests and park visitors in a friendly manner, provide information and services including carrying baggage to and from parking lot and rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas of hotel including dusting, emptying garbage, picking up litter, maintaining hotel lobby.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and buff all floor surfaces on hotel ground floor. Periodically deep clean.
• Clean and sanitize all ground floor rest rooms; replenish rest room supplies.
• Replenish fireplace wood supply from storage; lay and maintain fire.
• Clean windows as needed/requested.
• Check guests into hotel when front desk is not staffed during overnight hours.
• Assist night security in providing security in the hotel for guests and employees by making sure doors are locked as needed.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints within scope of authority; refer to management as appropriate.
• Performs such other related duties as directed or required.
