Job summary

Rainier Guest Services, LLC is seeking an Overnight Custodian for a hotel position. You will greet guests, maintain public areas, and assist front desk staff during overnight hours, ensuring clean floors, restrooms, and lobby, while providing basic guest services and security support.

Qualifications

• Partial High School; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits with attention to detail.
• Able to work alone with little supervision, using a checklist.
• Able to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work overnight shift, approx. 10:00pm–6:00am.
• Greet hotel guests and park visitors, provide information and services including carrying baggage to/from parking lot and rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas of hotel including dusting, garbage, and lobby.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and buff all floor surfaces on hotel ground floor.
• Periodically deep clean.
• Clean and sanitize all ground floor rest rooms; replenish rest room supplies.
• Replenish fireplace wood supply; lay and maintain fire.
• Clean windows as needed/requested.
• Check guests into hotel when front desk is not staffed during overnight hours.
• Assist night security in providing security for guests and employees.
• Resolve guest concerns and refer to management as appropriate.
