Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Jersey City to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure top-notch food quality and service for customers.

Lead restaurant team, coordinate with chef leadership, process orders, manage stock and supplies, and uphold safety, sanitation, and budget guidelines.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, and be able to lift 50 pounds and work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a Quick Service or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure top service quality.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and follow budget guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and well-maintained.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Uphold operating and quality standards and professional leadership.
