Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and deliver top-notch food quality and service. The role supports overnight operations with shifts typically from late evening to early morning, at the Williamsburg location.

Compensation includes a base pay rate of $21.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour premium for overnight hours, plus benefits such as health coverage, retirement plans, and employee stock options.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience supervising and/or leading teams in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant team members in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments for high-quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is safe, functional, and properly used.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with staff.
• Maintain operating and quality standards; present professional leadership.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for staff.
