Wonder, a meal platform, is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Mechanicsburg to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top quality food and service. The role supports overnight operations and offers a $20.50 hourly rate with a $2.00 overnight premium.

Responsibilities include leading team members, coordinating with the chef leadership, managing orders and stock, and upholding safety, sanitation, and budget guidelines, with opportunities for learning and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervising/leading a restaurant team.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and drive for efficiency/accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and help stay within budget guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is safe and in good working order.
• Conduct briefings with front- and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Maintain operating and quality standards at all times.
• Lead professionally and ethically at all times.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for staff.
