Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in West Chester to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-notch food quality and service. You will lead the restaurant team through opening, prep, and closing duties and collaborate with the chef leadership team to maintain high standards.

In this role you will receive and process kitchen orders, manage stock and supplies, uphold safety and sanitation, and help monitor costs and budget guidelines while modeling a professional leadership style.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor operating costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and properly maintained.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with staff.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style at all times.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development of restaurant employees.
