Fairmont Austin, a premier luxury hotel in Austin, TX, is seeking an In Room Dining professional to deliver exceptional guest experiences around the clock. You will serve, upsell, and coordinate food and beverage delivery with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• In Room Dining Department operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, candidates must have flexibility/availability to work varying shifts.

Responsabilités

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists.
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
• Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen.
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up.
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
• Double check every order before delivery.
• Double check all VIP orders with wit your Manager on duty.
• Immediately communicate all special guest Needs to your Manger on duty.
• Paces all In Room Dining order distribution and deliveries to our standards.
• Monitor order/food pick-up/tray assembly/delivery time.
• Compile trip report logs.
• Assist with amenity delivery.
• Assist coordinating removal of IRD equipment from guest rooms and public areas and sorting out all retrieved condiments and equipment’s and stored accordingly.
• Assist Inspecting hotel hallways/landings for Room Service equipment.
• Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies properly stored and organized.
• Follows hotels cleanliness guides.
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards.
