Job summary

Fairmont Austin, located in the heart of downtown, seeks a guest-focused food & beverage team member to deliver exceptional service in a luxury environment. You will engage with guests, explain menu items, and support beverage and dining service with attention to detail.

As part of a Heartists team, you will follow service standards, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality or food & beverage service experience is preferred.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset, not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Other duties as assigned.
