Job summary

Jericho Project in New York, NY is seeking an Overnight House Manager to safeguard residents and the facility at Fordham Village (Bronx). You will report to the Superintendent/Property Manager and handle non-exempt duties with a compensation of $36,400 annually.

Responsibilities include security, incident reporting, crisis intervention, rent-related administrative tasks, and coordination with the Building Operations Manager to support residents’ lease terms.

Qualifications

• 1-year customer service experience required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Securing and maintaining the safety of the tenants and the facility.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Report and electronically document all incidents on site.
• Assist with filing, rent collection, time & leave calendars and timesheet collection.
• Monitor clients and visitors to ensure safety.
• Maintain compliance with fire safety codes.
• Work with Building Operations Manager to assist tenants to meet lease terms, including timely rent payments.
• Conduct floor checks at the start of every shift.
• Attend house meetings, case conferences, and staff meetings.
• Light porter duties such as cleaning and light maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
