Job summary

Jericho Project is seeking an Overnight House Manager for its Walton (Bronx) site. This non-exempt role reports to the Manager of Buildings Operations and is responsible for the overall security of the site and clerical assistance.

Compensation is $37,440 annually. The position requires one year of customer service experience, Fire Guard Certification (within first year), basic computer skills, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Fire Guard Certification required (must obtain within first year).
• Basic computer skills knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Experience working with individuals with substance abuse history and homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain the safety of tenants and the facility.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Document incidents on site and report them.
• Assist with filing, rent collection, and timesheet collection.
• Monitor client/visitor activity and safety through floor checks.
• Maintain compliance with fire safety codes.
• Support tenants in meeting lease terms and timely rent payments.
• Perform light porter duties as needed (sweep, clean, remove trash).
• Attend house meetings and staff conferences as required.
