Job summary

Jericho Project is seeking a Per Diem House Manager to oversee site security and assist with clerical duties across Bronx and Harlem locations. The role reports to the Superintendent/Property Manager and offers non-exempt, part-time hours with compensation at $17.50 per hour.

The position requires a High School diploma (preferred), 1 year of customer service, and a Fire Guard certification. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and handle emergencies with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience required.
• Fire Guard Certification required. Must be willing to take certification course as a condition of employment.
• Basic computer skills knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use judgment and make sensible, practical and concise decisions in an emergency situation.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain the safety of the tenants and the facility.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Check work email daily.
• Report and electronically document all incidents on site.
• Manage facility operations in the absence of full-time staff.
• Assist with filing, rent collection, time & leave calendars and timesheet collection.
• Monitor client/visitor activity and ensure safety during fire alarms.
