Job summary

Extended Stay America in Providence, RI is seeking a Night Service Representative (Part Time) to manage overnight lobby duties, assist guests with needs, and address safety and security issues while upholding high service standards.

Role requires responding within 30 minutes during overnight hours, overseeing guest check-ins/check-outs, and maintaining hotel PMS proficiency. On-site lodging is provided under this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes during overnight hours.
• Calmly handle guest requests, safety incidents, and after-hours check-ins.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests on call notifications for check-ins, emergencies, or noise issues.
• Safeguard hotel keys and log key activity.
• Process limited check-ins/check-outs, greet guests, assign rooms, and collect payments when needed.
• Maintain proficiency in hotel computer and PMS systems.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders as required.
• Be prepared to cover other nearby hotels if staffing needs arise.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
