Job summary

Veho is seeking a Ground Operations Lead to oversee daily logistics activities in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards and deliver operational excellence while guiding a shared shift, including collaboration with driver partners and Veho teams.

Responsibilities include leading a shift, moving goods, and solving real-time operational challenges.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field preferred.
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead a shared shift to ensure launches and sorts with cross-functional teams.
Operate forklift and potentially a box truck safely and efficiently.
Navigate technology platforms to manage changes, re-routes and logistics issues.
Assess operational needs quickly and coordinate across teams for safe, seamless operations.
Provide high levels of customer service to driver partners and internal teams.
Demonstrate strong communication to effectively lead a shift.
