Job summary

Veho is seeking a Ground Operations Lead in Indiana to oversee daily logistics tasks and ensure safe, efficient shifts. You will work with cross-functional teams and driver partners to launch and sort operations, emphasizing strong safety and service.

A background in logistics and forklift skills are preferred. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with occasional heavy lifting and night/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in logistics, operations management, or related field preferred.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps daily.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks preferred.
• Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift to ensure safe, efficient operations and launches with driver partners.
• Navigate technology platforms to manage changes, re-routes, and logistics challenges.
• Assess needs quickly and coordinate cross-functionally for safe operations.
• Operate forklift and potentially box trucks with skill and safety focus.
• Provide high levels of customer-service to driver partners and internal teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication to effectively lead a shift.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
