Job summary

Veho is seeking a Ground Operations Lead in New Jersey to oversee daily logistics activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive safety and operational excellence. You will guide a shared shift, collaborate with drivers, and ensure timely launches and sorts.

The role requires at least 1 year in logistics or operations, smartphone proficiency, forklift certification preferred, and flexibility including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in logistics, operations management, or related field.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must own a smartphone and be able to use apps daily.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
• Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift to ensure safe, efficient operations and successful launches and sorts.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Veho teams and driver partners.
• Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck as needed.
• Navigate technology platforms to manage changes and re-routes.
• Provide high levels of customer-service support to driver partners and internal teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication to effectively lead the shift.
• Stand for extended periods and handle lifting up to 50 lbs.
