Meijer is seeking a store leadership role focusing on planning, directing, and supervising day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor team members, guide staffing and hiring, and drive customer service and sales while upholding Meijer standards.

You will manage disciplinary actions, oversee the department's P&L and shrink, and promote a safe work environment. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and effective communication to deliver exceptional store performance.

Formación

• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) can be helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clear direction to team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct and supervise daily operations across departments.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Handle disciplinary actions and make recommendations on terminations.
• Oversee P&L, sales targets, and shrink control for the department.
• Ensure safety and Meijer Friendly Initiative is evident in meetings and actions.
• Ensure thorough training and expected performance across the team.
